The Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting the Workshop for the Convention Bureau, Convention Center, and the Destination Sales staffs of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Tourism Community. The two day workshop will cover the details and nuances of the less popular, but necessary task of Prospecting and surfacing business in this ever changing business environment.

  • Day-one is lecture and discussion of the topic with interaction from the attendees and an opportunity to share personal experiences.
  • Day-two is actual hands on calling customers and the coaching process with the individual participants while you are on the phone.

After the workshop, you will have a better grasp on whom to target and how to target them, a strategic approach to organizing your prospecting, and techniques that will allow you to eliminate most cold calls, and allow you to rank your customers to insure you are working with the best prospects for success.
